This week, we’re focusing on the power of kindness! A small act of kindness can go a long way, especially when it crosses generational lines. Take a moment to show someone from a different generation that you care.
Here are some ways to explore this week’s theme:
Give a Compliment
Share a genuine compliment with someone from another generation, whether it's a neighbour, a coworker, or a family member. It could brighten their day and help build a stronger connection.
Example: "I admire the way you always know how to make people feel welcome!"
Share how they responded in the comments below!
Offer Help
Look for an opportunity to help someone from another generation—whether it's offering a hand with groceries, assisting with a tech issue, or providing support in another way.
Example: "I helped my elderly neighbour organize her garden—she was so grateful!"
Let us know what you did and how it made a difference!
Share a Smile
Sometimes, a simple smile can go a long way. Take a moment to greet someone with a smile—whether you’re at the store, walking down the street, or visiting a family member.
Example: "I exchanged smiles with someone while waiting in line—it was a simple moment that brightened my day."

Earlier this week, I worked alongside an older person to help them log into a social networking website which has enabled her to connect and communicate with family whenever she wishes.
